I first met Lesley in 1980 at St Martin's School in Caerphilly. Even though she had her own group of friends, she was somebody who talked to everybody. I can't recall a single day when she was in a bad mood, she always had a bright smile on her face. We shared a love of music, Art, bangles and a few drunken evenings in The Camelot. In later life, our paths crossed up North when I lived in Huddersfield. We met up when she had decided to become a Home Economics teacher, or as we joked the new Mrs East. She was so happy and enthusiastic about her new life and I knew she would be brilliant at it. Life can be very cruel to take away such a beautiful, caring and talented person who had such a zest for life. She was and will always be loved by so many people. Our next school reunion will be not as bright without her presence. Rest in Peace lovely lady x ❤️
